Meeting with The Lady
2 weeks ago, I attended Green Economy & Green Growth Forum, held in Naypyidaw and Yangon from Nov 1st to Nov 4th.
On the last day of the Forum, which was held in Yangon at Myanmar Bank Association on Nov 4th, Daw Aung San Suu Kyi also attended it.
I have been hearing rumours about her attending the forum since Day 1, so I was excited about getting to meet her. On the last day of the forum, my wish finally came true!

All the press and photographers crowded around her when she came in and sat at the front row
Checking her name tag
Reading the agenda
She sat at the first row with other VIP guests, and she listened attentively to all the speakers.
She looked so graceful and elegant. There was a coffee break and she was ushered into the coffee room to meet with the speakers and VIP guests. I was trying to take photos to document the event, and accidentally got in the line with others as she greeted each guest and talked with them for awhile. Then she paused in front of me, and asked me, "Which organization are you from, tha mee?" I got very nervous and didn't think to say I was a Project Coordinator from -- Company or that I was a member of Myanmar Youths in Action, and just managed to mumble, "I am a supporting staff for this event." -_-
I did get to shake her hands though. I told her that it was an honor to meet her :)

I wish I could meet that Lady.
I envy you.
I envy you, Dawn. I wish I could meet her in person and shake hands too. You're lucky!
She's so graceful.
