Graduation Rehearsal
Well, I decided to attend the graduation ceremony for my Post-Graduate diploma in Development Studies. I didn't plan on making it a big event though since I don't have the time or have the care to spend too much money on it. I didn't go to the tailor to get a new suit. I didn't make appointment with the beautician at the salon. I just wore what I already had in my wardrobe. I quickly ran to the home salon that I frequent for my hair (30 minutes for only 3,000 Ks.!) and then took a taxi to the University of Yangon Convocation Hall.
It's a good thing that taxis can now enter directly to the Convocation Hall. Before, taxis cannot enter so those who didn't have their own cars had to walk a long way from the gate to the hall.I attended the ceremony again because I wanted to take photos of me wearing a graduation gown again. I hated the photos I took during my university graduation so wanted to take a new set of photos. Ofcourse, now, I'm 8 years older. LOL
and I took my DSLR.
But.......I left the SD Card at home!!! Grrrr :( :( So I had to be content with taking photos from mobile! Other photos are in my friend's compact camera, and I also paid the photographers there for 6 photos. heh I will get them this Sunday.

So I asked the hair stylist to iron curl my hair. It was a style that I've never tried before. Make-up is done by myself. hehe

In Convocation Hall, rabbit-earred by a classmate :P
My longyi and the nail polish match! The salon that I went to did my nails for free. :D
I had to go and teach after the graduation. This is taken at home after I washed up. Should I keep this kind of hairstyle permanently? Hmm...The official graduation is on this Sunday. My father and boyfriend will come attend, so hopefully, I'll get some better shots :)

Congratulations. My protegé, Nguyệt, in Sài Gòn graduates from graduate school in March 2014. I intend to be there. In 2003 when she was 14 and just quit school to work I promised her father I would support her to stay in school until she finished high school. It worked out to be a little more than that.
You look beautiful! Congratulations!! I hope you get some great shots during the official graduation.
@awoolham - thanks sis. I really like that color too. Seagreen, isn't it?
@cafengocmy - that's great! I wonder how graduation looks like in Vietnam. Please post photos when you attend it :)
@making_a_comeback_05 - thank you very much. I'll try my best to get good shots.
@dawn_1o9 - You're very welcome! Good luck with the shots! ;)
